I think that this song is about a boys parents always thinking of what’s right for there son, but they are not listening to him, or to what he wants in life, he’s getting older and he’s losing patience with what they are doing, his parents run his life, and now he wants it back, they always push him aside and doesn’t want him to make bad decisions in life, but they don’t know how he feels about it, and he’s being pressured to do all these things, and he’s thinking to himself, what does HE want and need. I think this song relates to a lot of teens, how there parents sometimes don’t listen, and thinks that they always know what’s right or wrong.
