Gosh I don't know - I thought this song was about a close friend of a band member's who "found God" - but for some reason I thought it was in a cynical sense, as in a born-again Christian abandoning his friends because of his newfound religious fervor. If you think about it, the lyrics actually make sense for that interpretation. But there is no sarcastic or bitter tone in the song, just a relaxed, enlightened tone, and the "in memory of Kib Browning" sounds like somebody who dies, which means it was a song written to someone who maybe found Heaven. Still cannot find out who Kib Browning is, but there is a collectivesoul.com with message boards.... haven't got around to searching them.
