i have talked to pete, met patrick and andy
and been to see them a number of times.
this song (one of the top 3 on the album) is all about Pete's battle with depression and pressure after the success of "Take This to your Grave".
"Im not going home alone, cause i dont do too well on my own"--he is not going to quit and overdose
"i keep telling myself, im not the desperate type..but you got me looking in thru blinds"--he keeps thinking he doesnt need the pills but he cant see any other way out.
trust me, pete is a deep guy who definitly doesnt leave the true meaning of anything he writes on the surface.
