Everyone changes over time...it's inevitable, but this song portrays a couple who didn't work at nuturing one another's growth and the growth of the relationship itself. They've become so distant that the husband no longer recognizes the girl he married. They no longer share common interests, conversation or connection. Sad song but I love how most of bnl's lyrics exude such raw truth and emotion.
