"Maybe I find it hard/ Watching you live"- A girl can't stand watching the person she loves not knowing how deeply she feels for him. She can't stand how he's so carefree while she's agonizing over him. “Maybe I find the truth/ Questions I can’t bare” The girl asks herself if he could love her back. She is positive he doesn’t “I’m wondering where/ Selfish love inspires” Her love is selfish because it wouldn’t be good for either of them. She’s saying, ‘how could a love like this inspire anybody?’ “Maybe you are the rain/ Who makes my eyes closed/ Ocean’s grey and grey” Rain is life- giving, but too much causes destruction. Everywhere she looks, she sees a sea of grey “Feeling my despair/Your happy smile is broken/ I’m wondering there/ Selfish love has spoken” He notices she loves him and they both feel badly about it I think “Saving me who I spy” means that she is constantly “spying” on him, looking at him, thinking of him, and he is the one that keeps her sane, she loves him so much **“Are you here to hold/ Are you there to hold my hand?” The previous reviewer made an excellent point, that the question is a sarcastic one. He knows how she feels, but he does not feel the same and is not “there to hold” her hand, or be there for her.
