i think whoever wrote these lyrics quoted them wrong no offence....anyways, i think most arcade fire songs are about...lonelyness or something along those lines this song i think has alotof the same feeling as cars and telephones, but in a different way. my heart is an apple, your mouth is full, take take take, someone obviously keeps taking and then, they are taking back, its almost like a fight in a way, just more emotional and a mental sort of thing, trying to forget...or misunderstanding, im never sure how to explain lyrics, i just feel alot when i listen to music like the arcade fire, i can realy relate
