This song is seemingly simple on the surface, but has some unexplained complexities to it.
The story itself is fairly easy to follow. The lines near the end...
"Dagaz is now sad and worried,
she knows that she'll get a child,
but it's not the baby, it's not Tyrael
it's the premonition of war that makes her wild."
Are interesting as the talk of war seems to come out of no where. Dagaz is the German "version" or spelling of a norse god - the dog of daytime, and Tyrael is a character out of Diablo.
If anyone can provide any further insight into this that'd be much appreciated as it's had me thinking for some time.
