I love this song too. To me it's obviously about a child abandoned/neglected for most of his life. Or maybe a rough split of the parents. Once again strong lyrics. My Favorite line is "I'd give a thousand lives...To see you suffer the same." Maybe his family moved alot...not sure definately has some animosity or even hatred for his parents. It shows in other songs as well.
