This is by far the BEST song on Chapter V. Awesome guitar in the intro and verses, incredible chorus, and I love how the last two minutes are stringed together and flow.
My interpretation is that he is being used and expected to be something he's not (miserable skin) by someone who is trying to control him. He went along with it at first (swallowed your answers, swallowed my pride), but now he is begging that person to Please stop controlling and using him. The last verse means that only way for him to be free is to hurt himself more than his repressor (“Don't cut off your nose to spite your face”).
