there seems to be alot of alitteration between love and religion. i guess, as it pertains to me i think it's about the obsession one can have with a person. a girl, maybe, the need for someone the way certain people need faith in a religion. "what i love was never mine", the struggle of wanting to matter to someone you cant seem to forget while not being sure of one's on convictions towards that person. loving and hating at the same time, adoration and abuse. this song seems to jump back and forth between the emotions of caring about some one and hurting them at the same time "your the darkest of my sins" "in this love that makes me it's the hurt that moves me to betray you" maybe a song from the guilty conciance.
