Love this song! It turned me on to Dana Glover. Obviously it is about a woman who is trying to decide whether or not to marry someone she obviously loves. She seems to want to get married, too, as "it's the season," which can mean she at an age where she's expected to be married; she has come to a point in her life where she wants to be married; or it's a time when everyone is getting married.
But I will say that my favorite thing about this song, putting aside that it's just a wonderful song, is that she isn't relying on herself to make this choice. She is relying on God. She knows that she loves this man, but she knows she cannot see everything. She takes marriage and love seriously. She doesn't want to rush into something. Relying on her heart would be dangerous. This is very wise, especially when in love, for you "cannot clearly see" through your love.
