Anyway, LOVE this song, and the lyrics are pretty self explanatory. He is saying he wants to get away from the "leash" electronic gadgets and devices have on us these days. Just wants to get away from all the cell phones and laptops invading everyone's l,ives these days. These are some great words to live by.
