This song means a lot to me, ever since I bought my first SG cd I felt touched by it...Probably because I was in love with a guy that was always thinking and talking about someone else and I couldn't find the way to say to him: "Can't you see that you two just don't get along...". But at the same time I listened to it and said to myself: "don't you see what a liar he is, how able he is to manipulate you and play with you -watch him mangle the truth and how you take the bait- , he doesn't love you anymore, maybe he did long ago...it's all in your head, you're just turning yourself inside it FOR NO NEED, because he will never change...but still you can't help it, he means too much to you.
I'm probably one of the few people that are so touched by this song and that actually cries to it.
But I will give you a hint about a one more general view of the song :p and I've read that these lyrics were inspired by a movie called "Strange Days", which I have yet to see, but apparently it's a story that takes place in the future, and has something to do with a guy that creates some device to get over some girl. I should watch it, but it makes perfect sense to me, and it explains why he says "she doesn't love you anymore..."
