Hmmmmm.......I might be in the wrong forum, because this seems to be more of an argument about Vayne's status in the music industry. I do like some of the earlier comments about the Golden Dawn, which is likely where Vayne got the idea, though the concepts are not original to the Golden Dawn.
The Golden Dawn (i.e. Alexander Crowley, Mathers, Waite, and Israel Regardie) was formed by gifted plagiarists, mostly from Henry Agrippa. Irrelevant as that fact is, the song derives much of its meaning from this system; the band seems to have more than a rudimentary grip of the symbolism, which is likely why the claim that the song is "mysterious" and "allows the listener to find the answers". These are rudimentary concepts in the passing on of occult concepts.
Ok, enough b.s. What are the symbols? Well, The Middle Pillar path is nothing more than an energy arousal ritual which involves visualizing oneself larger than the earth gazing into the cosmos. Calms within the eye is refering, once again to this ritual. Deny my shadow has a similar meaning to that of the TOOL song forty six and two (look it up) Much of the symbolism also refers to the use of the tree of life to return to center i.e. the tarot.
I can't really give away any more of the answers. One last note before I go... I found that, while reading these comments, this song may be loosely based on the life and attitude of Alexander Crowley. OK, I'm done now.
