I agree with sweet_emotion what Honkin' was a great album for Aerosmith--but only for die hard Aerosmith fans, really. A lot of people who just like Aerosmith's newer stuff (1988 on) don't like this album because they don't understand that this is where Aerosmith started. Personally, I love this album because of that--because they are finally going back to their roots. A lot of the songs (mostly blues covers) have a real rock-a-billy quality about them that I just adore. Now, the meaning of this song is pretty obvious: He's got his girl, she's the only one for him, and he's basically daring anyone to say they've got someone better. She's perfect in his eyes, and to him can do no wrong. If I'm not mistaken, this (like a few of the others on the album) is a Missisippi Fred McDowell cover. Hey, there is nothing wrong with doing a cover album when you do it right. And Honkin' was definitely done right. :) Sorry if I kind of sound like a know-it-all but if I could major in Aerosmith in college, I'd be getting much better grades. ;)
