but a way i look at it is, he's just telling himself he's in it for sex when really he can't get enough of her. he just tells himself that to hide the fact that she fucked him over. he waits for her all the time, thinking it'll be more than just sex. but he can't get her out of her mind and get on with his life. he's acting all macho about it.
