ive never heared the song but i think it could do with someone having terrets(if spelt right) and lost what he wanted to do with his life with it and therefor cant read write etc.
i dont really know if its to do with eds personal life maybe he thought this way of his stepdad maybe ed said these swer things to his stepdad.
the last bit in brackets (i dont know if ed has a sister or not) could be how he felt this way towards his stepdad whilst being around his sister
