Waiting Meanings & Lyrics Discussion by delial | SongMeaningsEdited by delial on May 28 2008, at 01:27AM" />
this is another one of my theme songs. another one of those tales of waiting around for something for as long as it takes, telling yourself "tomorrow will be better," and sticking around for someone for the long haul... though at the time, he obviously sounds worn-down and weary, but like he says in the chorus, he'll be waiting. always.
i'm the same way, but i sound much like he does when he's singing this song. waiting is no big deal, but life is so short, sometimes i wonder why i should spend so much of it waiting. why should i be waiting in the first place? he lists all of these places he'll be waiting in, and he sounds almost bitter at the fact he's waiting around... but the song ends with the bit reassuring the person or people he's waiting for that he's fine(though it's obvious to me he sounds pretty tired of waiting... though like me he'll keep doing it for as long as necessary)
the music itself captures the feeling of monotony and waiting quite nicely.
Edited by delial on May 28 2008, at 01:27AM
