Loved this song since I first heard it on Emotional Blur. To me I feel the song is about heroin addiction. Of Course there is no way to be 100% sure about this, but the lyrics describe it perfectly. The feelings, the withdrawl symptoms, and the torment the never ending cycle of addiction brings. The new album ended up being called Addictions and Scars which made sense with what I thought. However the beauty of most music is in the fact that we can interpret songs as we like and find meaning in them for ourselves. Every time I hear this song it still hits me like a ton of bricks and brings tears to my eyes. Red Delicious is really quite a talented band who deserves a lot more recognition then they get.
