Certain parts of the song make it sound like its the regret from what wasn't done now theres a bullet in the lungs, but more parts seem to point towards, thats all in his head from the nerves, specially with the "so i waited by the phone but that phone never rang...ect." my two cents (tho no matter what the song kicks too much ass...the whole cd is too good)
