i think this is about a dude talking to a girl and he really likes the girl, but the girl doesnt share his feelings, she sees him as a freind, no more no less.
he is saying how he knows she sees him as a freind (a freind, the only friend...) but as he goes about his daily life, he needs her there (just to say good luck....)
he wants them together (i need us undivided....) hes been told lots that its not gonna happen (ive had the training...) but he still feels for her (but this isnt my war)
