When sumonomen said they thought it was about the death of her husband, I disagreed at first. I kinda thought it was more about her husband leaving her, rather than dying. The more I listen to the song though, I think it is about not being able to move on after losing a spouse. Everyone thinks she's crazy for not being able to get over his death. The line that says, "momma says that I just shouldn't talk to you." confused me at first, and made me think it was about a relationship dying. But the line that says something about her talking to "this stone" makes me think it's his grave, and she's been talking to it, because it's the closest thing to talking to him himself. Nice song, makes me kinda sad though.
