i think it has something to do with falling away from Christ...."I feel the death of our connection and the fading of light" and at the end the "i can feel you here, you can draw me near." is like that soul coming back to christ. And in the first and second verses it seems as though this person is having doubts and fears and is realizing that what he/she left was really better.... though i could be wrong... anyone else wanna comment? >_> OH yea! and its an excellent song!
