this song is about a guy who moved on from a girl, but he still kept his eyes on her like watching and protecting her and finds out how she is through his own sources. the reason that they are in differnt worlds is because "this eye for an eye thing it has gone too far" they did it in vengence like the saying an eye for me eye and the part "i don't know anyone who does not hurt inside i would like to believe that we can learn from this and maybe some day make things right" that means that they should stop the vengence and just get along
