wagner would have been a big fan of hitler, too ;). which doesn't change the impact his music has. but by the way, "leitmotif" wasn't created by wagner, he just made extensive use of them. it translates to "lead motive", which is found quite often throughout all music styles.
so, it only shows that the band knows terminology ;).
