Meaning wise, this seems pretty straightforward, and I've heard better musically, but what the hell, it's sweet, and I'm sure everyone has been in the situation, nervous as anything, unable to stop feelings and hoping for reciprocation. Love the summer imagery in this and much of the album too, cue lots of memories of summer nights and later autumn reminisscing. The female vocals are good too, makes me think it's mutual between them, just to add an extra sweet touch.
