I think it's the narrator's lack of fear of being taken off in death. He doesn't see the need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the afterlife he's willing to go. From the other theme's of Kyuss I can deduce it's basically his acceptance og the cycle of life and death and that death isn't something to fear but to accept. He's lived life on earth, wherever he goes next he will go, there is no use worrying.
