I think this is a referrence to Deism and X-tianity. Hot Cha is G-d and the "Second Time" is Jeebus. The clencher is "If that honey would come back.. drink and cook the prodigal son" almost a direct referrence to the bible.
A quick FYI.. I'm not saying the Johns are X-tians. Deism is the belief that a g-d may have created the world, but left us to our own devices afterward.
