There's something about some of the songs on here that remind me of "Heat" period Jimmy Barnes. Most curious.
I'm with the others that this is a pretty nifty song - ok it's not the best one. It's a love song, without having said that. There's a lot of people that can't/won't say that word, so maybe this is his way.
There's also a double edged to the structure of the chorus, he could be saying "Don't kid yourself that I will be your luck." instead of the interpretation of "Don't kid yourself cause I will be your luck"
