for me, this song is about lack of unity --- "When lines divide I walk away, Blazing sun sets on my back". it seems as tho he condemns those who are easily influenced by others --- "Fingers stain my gold" meaning that being an individual is golden and giving a shit about others will inevitably taint that. actually i have no idea but hey who gives a shit
