To me this song is about the world and life in general. About how the world is just a complete mess right now and that it's only getting worse. It's gotten so bad that "Even God wants to end it too." This symbolizes a sense of hopelessness, and maybe goes with the armagedon theory of the Christians. Anyways We're singing the death song b/c there's no hope for us. We have no future in a world of dependence and conformity. And what kind of future is that when you end up like everyone else anyways? Thats right, it's not one.
I know your post is from 2005, and you probably don't even remember your login (so you won't see my reply, but that's okay). I like your view of the song. But you wrote "the armagedon theory of the Christians" - don't forget nearly every religion has some kind of armageddon to it.
