This is NOT about rape. He's trying to convince this girl, not rape her. He's trying to persuade this girl that he is so wonderful, wants to offer her a future of marriage and children. Even if it's bullshit. If it is about a cocktail waitress, then it's far less dreamy than I pictured. But this is what it is to me:
He's stealing this woman away, reminds me of Rose's fiance on Titanic, but less of an asshole. "Tears drown in the wake of delight" - reluctance and sorrow will turn to joy.
"There's nothing like this built today/You'll never see a finer ship in your life" - there's no one like him these days, if she passes him up she's going to regret it.
"Along the way, the sea will crowd us with LOVERS (not rubbers - those lyrics are completely wrong) at night" - we'll have our options for infidelity. We'll be surrounded by temptation.
"An anatomy of kisses and a teacher who tries": Ultimately, what they will be - what they will be made of, one is more experienced
"Who knows how we'll disappear" - breaking up/leaving someone is inevitable, it's a question of how
