Anyway, this song is about a criminal(or murderer). He/she didn't wanted to die, and begged his/her king not to punish him/her. The king let know that when you open your eyes, death is only an illusion; there is an afterlife and they will live on.
But the problem is that the 'I'-person still doubts if the king did the right thing... Can he/she forgive him/her-self?
