This was one of the first songs I heard by Emiliana, and even though it is very short, it had a huge impact on me. I had been dating a guy that I had had a secret crush on for about 3 years, the summer after my first year of college; after a few months, we decided to break up, knowing that I'd be going back to college far away from home. With that said, I guess I relate this song to my terrible sadness and regret that things couldn't work out. Looking in his eyes after the breakup truly made it hard to breath, knowing that we must go our separate ways, like a choke you might have from drowning and inhaling water. geez, I guess you do never really get over your first love.
