I think it's about possesion, more than a relationship. I mean it is TAME... but usually women are tame when they go through something like that. She is being refered to as something really delicate and beautiful like china, like a lot of women are. He feels like he has to take care of her, but he doesn't anymore. "In your boys life you've become like a bull like a bull in a china shop smash it up into smithereens" He's being reckless in the relationship, breaking through her delicate shell.

This may refer to how he owns her, but now he'd rather just put her on the shelf and sell her.

"Dolls we got used to" I think it means like they've been together for too long, he's too used to her. Doesn't want her company any longer just because he's sick of her.

She really doesn't want to leave him but he's pushing her away, breaking them apart. This song is really sad and accurately depicts the control issues that go on in relationships.
