I love this line... He's too lazy to hide the fact he just wants to be around her. He's too lazy to play the games everybody else seems to play. Their love songs are so open and blatant it's beautiful. He doesn't play the games of saying things indirectly... he just busts out with "I'm in love with you" and passionately starts to just belt out "So in love" towards the end... it's all perfect.
I like that interpretation.. I had the idea that he was "going along because he's lazy", and that his laziness and unwillingness to fight back, and basically just go with it was a guise to hide the fact that he just wants to be with the person. I'm not good at explaining.. it's like she asks him if he wants to go to the store with her. He says he'll go because he's too lazy to argue and not go, but really he just wants to go to be with her.
