I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW EVERY SONG IN THIS ALBUM TIES TOGETHER!
Here's my take:
"I need a gun to keep myself from harm" is how it always starts out in life. That is to say, people feel they need to be stronger or protect themselves from the evils in this world by buy buying guns among other things.
But notice how the song shifts. First its almost like upbeat, resembling the happiness and goodness personified by children. Then all the sudden you get this in your face rapper singing about how hardcore:
Orders given to me is:
Strike and I'm thunder with lightning fast reflexes on constant alert
From the constant hurt that seems limitless with no dropping pressure
Seems like everybody's out to test ya
'til they see your brake
Even he "remembers when he used to dance", b/c even though society changes us, most of the time making us harder people, we still remember what we were before, when we were young
