This song is fantastic and I'm sure its one of the best they've done,the guitar rift reminds me so much of Rage's Wake Up.But that just adds to its charm.Definetly one of the best on the album.I love the typical Travisism in the line "people get down,people get down, people get hurt,when you did it to me I was already in the ground" because the first time you hear it you just presume he's going to say dirt,because its the logical thing.
I think the song is mainly that he is unsure of what he wants,he knows someone and he wants to be more than friends with her,but it could be that it would be too much bother,she'll never accept him or there's something else stopping him from going out with her.Thus he accepts he can't have her so he's happy just to be friends,and he could be accepting that he could have everything he wants with her,with the exception of everything that a relationship would bring.
