Cover art for Liar lyrics by Nine Inch Nails

If he speaks of a whore (being his as he says "my precious whore") what does he pay her? His disease, his infection? Why would she want that and lay to indure his tainted touch? A whore, I guess may not be as in a hooker who gets a payment and cares not for the customer. I suppose the whore in this case could be naive and being a sex object used by him to get intouch with others vileness while she does not know his intentions. To him somehow she is beautiful, maybe because of what she is able to give him although it seems to be just solidifying his wretchedness. Nonetheless, he calls her a liar, maybe saying she knows of the evil and likes it. To me this seems like his way of justifing what he does to her, not revealing the intentions of the whore he apparently calls her a reptile, thus cold blooded. A reptile is what it is and knows not how to be other than a reptile. Maybe he calls her a liar because she has some realization of her nature (atleast to him) but holds to believe that she is not this reptile. So I guess it would be his word against hers. Maybe she has become a reptile (figuratively) by such abuse. Is this reptile a person? a group? a religion? political group? or maybe some part of himself? Maybe Trent could help me out here.
