ok let me begin monolith is a stone with a meaning in this case stone sour is the stone and the song is the meaning of wat they feel.....the song is about that they done stuff in the past that they got away with that still bothers them bcuz they dont feel it was them truly...but they tell themselves is was their need at the time and it stayed in the head and couldnt get out(and i hear a different kind again can u help me?)but to me the whole ideal of the song is *and i need to shed my skin reveal this monolith within- to me this means that everything they did at the time was bcuz of the influence around them that led them to do things that bothered them now and they want to reavel their true selves not wat they became bcuz of their surrounding at the time ......plz email me if u aggree jimroot69@yahoo.com
