@ZEROpumpkins It is a cover of a Kim Fowley song, and was originally a throw-away B-side of the 7 inch single "Starpower". It was not on the original SST records album release in the 80s.
I got into Sonic Youth in 1985, and since 1986 probably saw them 60 times or so, I'm even in their final video. In 1986 they did indeed have a Madonna fixation (listen to their cover "Into the Groovy"). On the Evol tour, Lee at a HUGE cassette boombox on stage, mic'd up. At the end of shows, he cranked up...
