He loves this girl, but she isn't showing any sign of interest in him

She totally disregards his love for her and he feels like he will never exist to her

He knows someday he will have his chance with her, he just needs to keep trying and she'll come around

He's waiting for her, but is slowly starting to get over it.

He knows they could be great together, so he decides to wait a little longer for her to realise it.

He is starting to lose interest, he realises he can't wait around all his life for her to realise he's the one for her

He needs to be loved and to love, and if since can't get that from her, he starts to move on.

Now it's the opposite. He's finally managed to get completely over her, and NOW she comes around. He doesn't love her anymore, and if she had realised he was perfect for her a little earlier, they could have been very happy. He decides to let her wait, just like she did for him.
