"Girls vomit candy and lies that they're fed/Boys whisper lullabies and wet their beds" We impose ridiculous standards and we're screwing ourselves up, girls with eating disorders and how it's just inappropriate for males to cry and little boys whispering lullabies and trying to comfort themselves but they can't openly do so..you could also link that to "Robots steal emotions hide them under their beds".. I also think the 'little friend' can mean anything to anyone, a vice, a habit, that can take on a personal meaning. Although, psychedelic, I do see what you mean! Curious.
