That was 12 years before Dave accepted Jesus and became a Christian. Dave was a damn jackass before that, but hes really changed. You can see it plain as day now. Just take a look at his posts on the Megadeth forums. Hes a different dude now. No true Christian would vote Kerry. Bush is the christian candidate. As a Christian, naturally he voted for Bush.
Anyway, this song is definitely about the senseless slaughter of animals. Probably pertaining to the chain effect of extinction. Sure, it can go higher than that.. but I like the face value of the lyrics.
