This song mentions nothing about losing love, or breaking up. I take it as though she was with someone she really cared for, and thought they cared for her too, but for whatever reason he got what he wanted from her, anf then just more or less left her. Leaving her to wonder why, and what was so wrong with her that he didnt want to be with her.
