Okay... When I read the lyrics I think of a friendship where one is in love with his friend, but feels his friend isn't even aware. He feels so strongly for her but is afraid to confront her..or something. He seems to do pretty much anything to stay by her side even being someone other than himself to impress her. It's driving him crazy.
