I'm sure she has a specific meaning & it's pretty obvious, Because I've moved about the globe, I can really relate to the lyrics and the feeling of, not just being new/out of place, but 'losing on my own'. It's one thing to move to a new place and not know anyone. It's another to feel like you've lost a sense of home and aren't sure you can gain it back.
