I agree on the fact that this song references Martin Luther King Jr.'s infamous speech, however, this song also reflects Chad personal views on "cleansing the world of all life to start over". I think that Chad feels more like the present world is a hopeless dissaster. The exerpt that bush h8er used is a good example, but the second paragraph is a complete contradiction to this statement.:
"dreams of guns blazed,
dreams of fire rage,
dreams of swollen graves,
dreams of hollow pain-
...all gone"
These are bad things that are also "all gone". I feel that this song is more about the fact that people have given up on dreaming all together. Chad feels that people need this in thier life, and I concur.
