I can't believe I'm the first to comment on this song. Although I'm sure many a fans share the same thoughts. Never the less, wOw, for lack of a better term. Relative to the Glass House version, its Billys utterly raw emotion and jimmys iron clad timing which make this song to be poetry. Maybe such lyrics notion is that all things, such as love, must come to an end (and great loves will someday have to part: 0) Love may lie in ruin but it arose in rectitude.
