this song makes me think of a girl who really hates herself. he continually compares herself to other, attractive, women; 'I am not as pretty as those girls in magazines' to justify her selfhtred. This song really strikes a chord with me, as an ex-self hramer, i understand what Ms manson was feeling when she felt like this (she also used to self-harm, btw). There's an undercurrent for me, where i think she knows she's not really ugly,and she knows she's not making sense, 'I have no proof but I think that I'm right'. And there's an almost self-congratulatory nod where she says 'And you've still got the most beautiful face '....it's like she realises if she was as ugly and unlovable as she thinks, this beautiful guy wouldn't love her.
There's this guy i know. By know, i mean, i broke his heart and he still loves me. That makes this song really relevant to me, for a different reason, i dont wonder why he likes me in an attraction sense, i wonder how he can love me through all i've done to him.
